Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Regression test team is engaged to define and execute regression tests of The W (main data warehouse for Bank) extract, transform, load (ETL) jobs based on estimate assumptions for projects. This involves the batch job set up, table and view creation, test plan creation, script development, batch execution and table loads, script execution and support for all triage and status reporting requirements.

Sets up, supports, maintains, tests and debugs The W software applications. These application program solutions involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Will provide test planning and test execution for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. May collaborate with programmers on other teams to coordinate delivery of test data.

Applies technical knowledge in understanding end to end design requirements for large projects involving line of business, software/hardware developers and vendors. Works closely with project partners, developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into test plans and scripts serve The W requirements. Works under minimal supervision on enterprise wide projects.

Debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the testing of complex applications, often using new technologies. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants.

Required Experience & Skills:
·  Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered for this position.
·  Experience working with and supporting applications in large data-warehouse environment based on Teradata environment
·  Experience working closely with technology and business users from technical upstream teams, operations, and risk groups to reconcile business, technical and functional requirements to test scripts and results
·  Understands complex ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes and programs
·  Strong SQL experience
·  Strong technical expertise for data mapping and defect triage required
·  Experience with Test Planning
·  Experience with Test Execution and status reporting
·  Experience with various Software Development Lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile)
·  Excellent both verbal and written communication skills
·  Strong experience with MS Office (Word, Excel) Desired Experience & Skills:

·  Bash / Shell Scripting
·  Quality Center or ALM
