Specific Description:
Teammate will support Global Infrastructure Finances (GIF) Internal-Use Software Capitalization process for one of the following areas: Retail, Preferred and GWIM Technology (RPGT), Information Chief Data Office (ICDO), Control Function Technology (CFT), Global Banking and Markets (GBAM).
Key responsibilities and competencies:
· Work with Internal-use software capitalization team to develop and maintain a standardized template for accounting and forecasting Fixed Asset capitalization, amortization, impairment and retirement
· Maintain working files and prepare review materials incl. questionnaire
· Complete consolidation templates and program review decks
· Escalate issues to Central team and help resolve issues
· Any other ad hoc duties around internal-use software capitalization process
General Description:
Responsible for more complex finance activities involving implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a business unit or associate area. Supports achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects with others within the unit and with partners. Leads projects and coordinates resources. May provide supervision to a small staff. Can manage partner relationships.
Required
· BS/BA (Finance / Accounting Preferred)
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, with emphasis on strong excel
· Accounting, Audit or GAAP compliance experience
· Familiarity with proper documentation of assumptions and log changes
· Strong understanding of accounting, and expense/asset forecasting methodologies
· Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills , and be comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on projects/assigned deliverables
· Strong business partnership skills

· Hyperion/Essbase/Smartview
· Forecast/Planning Experience
· Understanding of SOP 98-1 Capitalization/accounting rules (deferring Technology costs)
· MBA (Finance)
