Our Business:

The Quantitative Management Intern Program is designed to develop and coach analytical and quantitative talent to be deployed throughout various Bank of America business groups. Upon completion of the program, interns have a broad range of quantitative career opportunities within the bank.

The Global Risk Development Program (GRDP) encompasses three areas of focus: General Risk; Quantitative and Global Compliance. This posting is specific to the Quantitative Internship.


Overview:
·  Gain real, in-depth experience applying quantitative knowledge to specific financial challenges.
·  Provide a micro view of risk management in a particular business line and a macro view of risk management for the bank as a whole.
·  Internship opportunities include positions within various lines of business, such as Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, and Consumer Banking.
·  The Quantitative Management Internship Program is meant to be a feeder pool into the full-time Quantitative Management Rotational Program for strong performers.

Locations are based on the needs of the business at the time of internship. Must be flexible to be placed in either city.

Enterprise Job Description: Program designed to introduce associates with little to no work experience to business banking policies and practices. Length of employment is pre-established for a set period of time, usually seasonal. Work assignments are well defined with a high degree of supervision and direction provided.

Desired profile

The Quantitative Management Intern Program is seeking a combination of academic aptitude and quantitative skills including:
·  Required Skills:
·  Must be pursuing an Undergraduate or Masters Degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation timeframe between December 2016 and June 2017 .
·  Must be pursuing Undergraduate or Masters Degree in one of the following quantitative disciplines:
·  Engineering
·  Mathematics
·  Statistics
·  Computer science
·  Quantitative finance
·  Econometrics
·  Minimum GPA of 3.3
·  Exceptional communication skills
·  Desired Skills:
·  Strategic and creative thinking ability
·  Experience with any of the following:
·  Statistical analysis, predictive modeling, linear regressions, SAS, R, Matlab
