The UMR team is seeking an experienced derivative specialist to support the Uncleared Margin Requirements (UMR).  The role will based in New York. Role involves working with trading, sales, finance, risk and operations as well as coordination across teams in various locations.

 Daily responsibilities would include:

·  Daily reconciliations between official EOD batch jobs and UMR regional jobs, investigation of breaks and working through to resolution.
·  Resolve trade breaks escalated by BO support partners
·  Tracking of breaks with monthly reporting, including root cause analysis.
·  Ability to build strong relationships with Support partners
·  Review of Daily regional UMR market data grab
·  Responding to adhoc queries from support partners on their issues / concerns related to UMR
·  Project work is also expected, including process enhancement initiatives and system testing
·  Understanding UMR eligibility and updating trade bookings if SOR capture incorrectly.
·  Desire to strive for continual process improvement.

Required Qualifications

·  About 3+ years previous Middle Office PL/Trade control experience with a strong understanding of Risk and P&L and Trade bookings
·  Experience working with derivatives
·  Experience with building and running reconciliations required in a product/trade control role.
·  Advanced Excel knowledge, Access knowledge
·  Comfortable dealing with Traders and Sales teams
·  Excellent analytical and communication skills
·  Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

·  VBA
·  Prior work experience within FX middle office
·  A keen interest in documentation and automation of flows.
·  Derivative knowledge
