Works Service Engineer Middle East

Would you like to be strengthening the Manufacturing Operations business? We currently have a vacancy for a Works Service Engineer Middle East at our site in Samlesbury

As a Works Service Engineer Middle East Grade E, you will be involved in new projects and take part in supporting the Manufacturing Operations deliverables.

This role will also give you an opportunity to travel abroad.

Your main responsibilities as a Works Service Engineer Middle East will involve:

Close liaison with Key Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts as well as engineering professionals both internally and external to BAE systems.

Understanding of site customer requirements supporting the preparation of implementation plans, designs specifications and supporting the writing of financial business cases.

Co-ordinating and liaising with the project teams, consultants and contractors to effectively resource the project design and implementation

Managing professional consultant design teams and construction contractors in respect of the development of off-site facilities including the design development of key infrastructure, utilities and incorporation of manufacturing plant & equipment

Ensuring that all projects are delivered in accordance with company and departmental quality procedures

Understanding and supporting the budgetary and financial justifications and control

Your skills and qualifications as a Works Service Engineer Middle East:

Have the technical skills to work towards ensuring all relevant design and construction standards are achieved and costs are minimised where possible

Experience of the Life Cycle Management process and support customers in the preparation of supporting information for their LCM phases

Proven client side Project Management, Facilities, Construction, Plant and Equipment and Estates experience

Knowledge and experience of the practical application of Project Management Processes in a facilities design and construction environment is essential

Excellent supplier management skills

Have the technical skills to work towards ensuring all relevant facilities and infrastructure design and construction standards are achieved and costs are minimised where possible

Demonstrable awareness of Construction and/or Plant & Equipment Health & Safety management

A background in facilities, building services, or construction would be desirable

Project Management qualification would be desirable

Salary: £34,274+
