UK Case Coaching HR Advisor

We currently have a number of new vacancies for HR Advisors at our sites in Glasgow, Barrow, and Portsmouth.

As a HR Advisor, you will be in a highly visible and influential role providing expertise and support to complex, high risk cases across multiple sites, businesses and local cultures.

You will work as part of a team to build and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels in the business, and will be focused on providing a positive customer experience, speedy resolution of cases and effective management of risk.

This role will provide you with the responsibility for managing and prioritising a case load, and will support the HR Manager in partnering business teams as a key interface into the UK service.

There will be a requirement to travel across the UK to multiple locations to support case meetings.

Your main responsibilities as a HR Advisor will involve:

Providing coaching, advice and support to Line Managers on more complex or sensitive ER cases across all in scope UK businesses, and to achieve consistency across the UK business.

Establishing effective working relationships to ensure that relevant stakeholders are engaged and informed at the appropriate stages in each case

Providing constructive feedback, coaching and support other team members to ensure a collaborative, joined up service, and to inform continuous improvement of the UK service

Applying judgment to achieve appropriate outcomes, and advice that is legally compliant and in line with company policy.

Working with key stakeholder groups to continuously improve line leader capability by coaching, influencing and supporting managers in a way that increases their knowledge, skills and confidence to manage ER cases effectively

Contributing to identifying and implementing transformation change initiatives

Being an advocate of the UK Case Coaching model; championing the desired change in agreed business areas and influencing others to bring people along the change journey

Your skills and qualifications:

Robust ER knowledge and sound knowledge and understanding of UK employment legislation

Ability to prioritise and manage a complex, wide ranging case load

Ability to apply judgment, identify appropriate solutions and interpret them for the business in question

CIPD qualified or part qualified
