Tornado Training Specialist

Would you like to be involved in the design, development and delivery of training solutions across the Tornado platform and equipment at our Customer locations? We currently have vacancies for Tornado Training Specialists at our site in Warton (travelling to wider UK locations and Middle East regions).

As a Tornado Training Specialist, you will be working within the team responsible for designing and delivering theoretical and practical training

As part of the design and development you will be directly involved in shaping solutions to ensure training is part of a fully integrated capability that supports operational requirements and integrates new teaching methodologies and technologies.

As part of the delivery team you will be responsible for delivering training using the latest emulation / simulation technology directly to our Customers.

We have training specialist vacancies for mechanical, electrical/ECS and avionics trade areas.


Your main responsibilities as a Tornado Training Specialist will involve:

Carrying out analysis, design, production, development and delivery of new and existing training courses, ensuring they are aligned to meet the customer's needs in terms of time, cost and specification

Producing training support materials, including curriculum, training objectives, syllabi, course plans with assessment and evaluation methods in order to satisfy both BAE SYSTEMS and customers' requirements

Delivery of practical training in the operational environment, in line with appropriate policies and procedures

Ensuring general welfare of students in assigned areas during training activities, monitoring their performance so that each individual achieves maximum progress towards meeting the training objectives

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

Thorough aircraft engineering background and in-service maintenance experience in one of the specified trade areas i.e. mechanical, electrical/ECS and avionics

Desirable:

Qualification in training delivery to a minimum of QCF Level 3 e.g. Defence Instructional Techniques Course or equivalent

Salary: £34,274 +

Location: Warton (travelling to wider UK locations and Middle East regions)
