Tool room Technician: Bench Fitting/ milling
As a Tool room Technician: Bench Fitting/ milling, you will be supporting the team and working on your own initiative to Manufacture form tooling or components from drawings provided through to a finished product by use of any of the in-house machinery E.G, Bench Fitting, milling machines/cnc and other tool room machinery.

This role will provide you with you a mix of process driven and reactive tasks, Working with the face pace land sector.
Your main responsibilities as a Tool room Technician: Bench Fitting/ milling will involve:
Manufacturing form tooling or components from drawings provided through to a finished product by use of any of the in-house machinery E.G cylindrical grinding, Fitting, Turning, EDM machining, milling and cnc
Repairing/refurbishing form tooling, machine parts and components as required
Training apprentices in tool room techniques with regards to setting up and use of form tools
Working in a safe manner using safety equipment provided, to advise on any potential hazard and to keep the workplace clean
Responsible for auditing your own work
Interpreting engineering drawings
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential skills
Must have served a recognised Mechanical engineering apprenticeship
Must be able to read engineering drawings
Close dimensional tolerances
Literacy and numeracy skills
Desirable Skills
Excellent tool room discipline, broad range of cylindrical grinding,

Salary: £ 29,799.00 DOE
