Technical Coordinator
We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Coordinator at our site in Barrow in Furness.
As a Technical Coordinator, you will be producing weekly information packs for all Integrated Work Team Managers, this will include training and medical information, Risk and COSHH information as well as any other specific to the department.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within build delivery- Manufacturing which is a cross programme department and is working on nuclear deterrent submarines.
Your main responsibilities as a Technical Coordinator will involve:
Updating the weekly PowerPoint presentation for the Facility Delivery Manager
Producing reports for the Facility Delivery Manager and Facility Area Managers as required
Updating all facility information boards and recording data into databases
Updating and managing all Risk and COSHH reports and inputting as required
Managing all un-costed hours for the workshops
Providing ad hoc support when required for the smooth running of the facilities
Your skills and qualifications:
5 GCSE's A – C including English and Maths
Experience within document management
A good standard of IT skills are essential, to include the basic use of Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience liaising with stakeholders and external contractors

You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal. You will have an organised approach with effective time management. You'll work on your initiative and have the ability to cope under pressure.
