Technical Administrator
Would you like an exciting and varied role liaising with multiple stakeholders within the business? We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Administrator at our site in Barrow.
As a Technical Administrator, you will be working within the drawing Service which is a cross functional Engineering department supporting multiple projects across the site
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within engineering providing support across multiple programs using different software applications
Please note: the role will be working between the hours of 5pm – 12pm and some occasional weekends
Your main responsibilities as a Technical Administrator will involve:
Maintaining and managing drawings stored on the business document management system
Processing and manipulating the data within company management systems
Producing of material to meet internal/external customer requirements
Maintaining of technical documentation to ensure swift and accurate traceability
General administration tasks to support the smooth running of the office
Maintaining a proactive response to enquiries and exchanging of information
Ensuring query resolution is dealt with in a timely and professional manner
Effectively liaison with both internal and external customers
Following process and work instructions to achieve tasks.
Your skills and qualifications:
A good standard of IT skills are essential, to include the basic use of Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong administration skills
Previous experience of working in a multi skilled team, or hierarchical organisation
Proven communication skills and team interaction

To be successful in this role you will have good time management skills and able to work towards deadlines. You will have good communication skills both verbal and written. You will be customer focused and confident liaising with the wider team.

Salary: £15,500
