Requirements Engineer

Would you like to play a key role in the requirements management for Tactical Communications projects? We currently have a vacancy for a Requirements Engineer at our site in either Abbey Wood or Christchurch.

As a Requirements Engineer, you will be working within the Requirements Team, focuses on the Land Environment (LE) and in particular the delivery of Tactical Communications and Information Systems (TacCIS). The Requirements team is responsible for the capture, management and tracking of the requirements throughout the procurement process, from initial concept through to final acceptance. This work has three main strands. The first centres on engagement with the various end-user communities, to determine what they want to use the system to do; the second is tracking the requirements; and the third is the test and acceptance of the requirement set.

This role will provide you with the chance to work with complex military projects, as well as exposure to a range of stakeholders and defence organisations.

Your main responsibilities as a Requirements Engineer will involve:

Creating, maintaining and reviewing requirements in DOORS

Supporting the development of user acceptance processes

Creating and maintaining test and acceptance documentation

Maintaining the traceability of agile requirements fulfilment to the User Requirements Document (URD) via the Verification & Validation Requirements Matrix (VVRM)

Your skills and qualifications as a Requirements Engineer:

Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge

Requirements management experience

DOORS experience (or similar software)

Verification & Validation Requirements Matrix (VVRM) knowledge
