Project Management Coach/Assessor

Would you like a highly satisfying role, working with apprentices and assisting learners to achieve? We currently have a vacancy for a Project Management Coach/Assessor at our site in Barrow (however travel between sites may be occasionally required).

As a Project Management Coach/Assessor, you will spend time coaching apprentices to reach their full potential by providing key support and motivation throughout all aspects of the learning journey.

Working as a member of the Shared Services Team, you will coach and develop apprentices through progress reviews, welfare support and careers guidance to aid their progression, attainment and transition into the business.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within an ever changing, key part of the business and assist with the development of the next era of BAE Systems.

Your main responsibilities as a Project Management Coach/Assessor will involve:

Enacting effective programme delivery that utilises a coaching and blended learning pedagogy to train, monitor, develop and assess apprentices against relevant qualification standards/frameworks in support of them attaining occupational competence

Effectively communicating within the business to ensure all stakeholders involved in the apprentice learner journey are clear on their roles and responsibilities and working in support of the individual learning plan

Coaching, developing and inspiring apprentices to achieve their full potential and become autonomous employees

Providing and monitoring the effective safeguarding, SHE, welfare and support arrangements for apprentices throughout their programme

Effectively recording /reporting performance data in support of delivery outstanding outcomes for apprentices

Effectively managing of the E portfolio system to ensure accurate and timely assessment, target setting and monitoring of apprentice progress

Leading on the preparation and readiness of apprentices completing their end point assessment and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders involved in this process

Liaising with sub contracted providers in order to monitor learner performance and effectively maximise the link between classroom and workplace learning opportunities

Your skills and qualifications:

Excellent knowledge and skills in project controls/project management with industrial experience.

Strong coaching skills

Knowledge and experience of assessment/verification practices and awarding body requirements

Knowledge and understanding of Ofsted CIF requirements

You will have a logical approach to business operations and a flexible approach to work, with a desire and willingness to achieve. You will be able to work effectively, both as part of a team and independently.

Location: Barrow (travel between sites to be expected)

Salary: £32,118+
