Principal Commercial Officer

Would you like to be part of an exciting and growing company? We currently have a vacancy for a Principal Commercial Officer at our site in Frimley, Surrey.

As a Principal Commercial Officer, you will be you will be managing the commercial aspects of contracts and sub-contracts.

This role will be involved in taking bids through the business approval process (Life Cycle Management and Tender Vets).

Your main responsibilities as a Principal Commercial Officer will involve:

Providing Bids and Proposals into the MoD and negotiating resulting contract offers

.

Ensuring flow down of Terms and Conditions to Sub Contractors.

Managing and resolving customer queries and issues in areas of responsibility, escalating significant problems as appropriate.

Managing the implementation of procedures and controls within the specified area to ensure compliance with commercial policies.

Adopting clear understandings with suppliers of both technical and commercial issues to ensure that business arrangements minimise risk.

Proposing and reviewing complex terms and conditions to ensure that BAE Systems Business interests are protected.

Drafting detailed Agreements, including Purchase Orders, Enabling Agreements, Technical Assistance Agreements, Contracts, Sub-Contracts, amendments and Service Level Agreements.

Your skills and qualifications will include:

Commercial qualification (Or equivalent)

Experience of working with the MoD, or within the Defence industry

Understanding of technical documents from a Commercial perspective

Experience in DEFCON terms and conditions
