Off Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor

We currently have a vacancy for an Off Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor at our site in RAF Coningsby.

As an Off Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the day to day maintenance activities within the Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO), working in the Oxygen Bay Workshop.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within a varied role within a dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities as an Off Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor will involve:

Undertaking the detailed maintenance, inspection and supervision activities on Aircraft Mechanical Components

Assuring work carried out has been completed in accordance with the SOW/IMS work package using the relevant approved technical information

Resolving faults and maintenance issues, including an awareness of configuration management

Overseeing and instigating compliance support activities which are required to maintain compliance with the MOE and AMC procedures (e.g. oversight checks, control of tooling/test equipment etc.)

Demonstrating leadership and develop Team Members using formal assessment processes, e.g. PDR's support and sponsor training requests including OJT & Assessment

Your skills and qualifications:

Previous experience working with airborne oxygen equipment

Recent experience employed as a Technician in a MRP Part 145 CMRO. (Component maintenance Repair Organisation)

Experienced and competent leader at this level

Excellent inter-personnel skills, verbal communication and written skills

Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices

A working knowledge of MRP Part 145 Regulatory Governance

Display the attitude to understand detail and challenge conventional thinking

Competent with MS Office Suite and IT Systems
