M777 Cell Manager

Would you like to run a manufacturing cell for the WSUK business? We currently are recruiting for a Manufacturing Cell Manager at our site in Barrow-In-Furness.

As a Manufacturing Cell Manager you will be responsible for managing up to 12 reports manufacturing WSUK contracts.

This role is to heavily support the international customers.

This role will be required travel 2-3 times a year to these areas. The work is to manage and assist in the assembly of M777 internationally and with this to understand and manage the cultural difficulties that may arise.

Your main responsibilities as a M777 Cell Manager will involve:

Leading and developing the team to achieve their work programme, meeting all performance measures (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People)

Managing and controlling all cell activities to time, cost and quality.

Resource allocation across the cell to meet programme demands and contribute to the forward resource demand prediction process

Compiling estimates, programmes and schedules

Engendering and maintaining positive relationships with project and customers

Acting as line manager to the cell, monitor and reviewing performance

Your skills and qualifications:

Minimum HNC degree qualified or equivalent is essential

Experience and/or awareness of operations environment

Strong MS Office skills

Proven leadership experience and skills

Thorough understanding of Lean techniques and continuous improvement

Good SHE knowledge would be desirable

Salary: £45,000+
