Logistics Operative-Driver
We currently have a vacancy for a Logistics Operative-Driver at our site in Barrow in Furness.
As a Logistics Operative-Driver, you will be responsible for supporting the onsite teams with the on time delivery of parts and items.
This role will include completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring loads are prioritised and delivered safely within prescribed legislation.
Your main responsibilities as a Logistics Operative-Driver:
Collecting and delivering parts and items for different areas of site and the business
Ensuring loads are loaded safely within prescribed safety recommendations and ensuring load is delivered on time and in full
Responsible for ensuring that tasks relating to such as completing daily vehicles checks
Abide by driver hours and taking breaks when stipulated
Competent use of a tachograph and understand significance of record
Adherence and compliance to site based health and safety and also driver safety information
Your skills and qualifications as a Logistics Operative-Driver:
Clean Driving Licence (Essential)
ADR Training- Dangerous Goods (Essential)
Driving Licence which includes Class 1 C+E and D (Essential)
Valid Digital Tachograph card (Essential)
Competence with driving articulated vehicles including an in date driving CPC card
Firm understanding of driving legal requirements e.g. drivers hours and daily vehicle checks
Proven track record of providing a good service to customers
Experience of strict health and safety legislation
Proven track record of multi drop delivery
