Junior Systems Engineer

Would you like to use leading edge technology, whilst evaluating future technologies?

We are looking for outgoing engineers with a keen interest for the latest technologies, to join our growing team within our base at Christchurch and our MoD customer sites.

As a member of the team, you will be working with other likeminded engineers to push the limits of current technologies and help bring new bold and innovative ideas to reality, developing new and secure cyber security products. The roles available include researching and staying abreast of the latest technologies, understanding customer requirements and intentions, and pulling together technical proposals that can be turned into the next generation of cyber products.

Your main responsibilities as a Junior Systems Engineer will involve:
· Developing a base understanding of secure cyber systems, services and solutions;
· Researching leading vendor products, technologies and services;
· Develop an understanding of cyber threats and how they are mitigated;
· Support next generation product requirements and design;
· Development of next generation of secure cyber products;
· Provide feedback and continuous improvements to maintain a cutting edge solution;
· Closely collaborate with the team, delivering to commitments on time and budget;


Your skills and qualifications as a Junior Systems Engineer:


Essential:

Graduate Degree qualified in Science/Technology/Engineering/Maths or equivalent

Passion for technology and experimentation

Appreciation of the development lifecycles, from design through to implementation

Appreciation of Systems Engineering


What we're looking for in you:

You will ideally be a self-driven team player, with a natural inquisitive nature in a broad range of technologies innovation and problem solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to present solutions to a wide and varied audience would be an advantage. You should have good attention to detail, with a logical, analytical approach to your work

Salary: £ 26,000 commensurate with skills and experience

Location: Christchurch or Yeovil/ Abbey Wood/ Filton with travel to Christchurch
