Global Mobility Advisor

Would you like to be responsible for delivering a specialist advisory and assignment service to BAE Systems? We currently have a vacancy for a Global Mobility Advisor at our site in Guildford.

As a Global Mobility Advisor, you will be working in a very fast paced, demanding but exciting environment.

This role will support one or more Global Mobility Managers in managing the mobility services for assignees.

The services to be provided to these businesses are made up of business advisory services and mobility management

Your main responsibilities as a Global Mobility Advisor will involve:

Business Advisory Services

Providing support to the Global Mobility Manager on the Bid Advisory process by organising and co-ordinating bid calls, summarising advice, seeking relevant approvals, distributing and tracking guidance

Supporting the Global Mobility Manager in development of best practice solutions for international mobility that meets the needs of the business and is in line with Policy

Managing stakeholder expectations in terms of key process timings (payroll set up / visa applications etc.

Producing cost estimates to feed into bid and assignment initiation processes

Mobility Management

Preparing all paperwork associated with the international assignment/international relocation and maintaining assignment data on ECAEnterprise, Success Factors, assignee files and Teamshare

Producing cost estimates for all international assignments/relocations

Day to day point of contact for third party suppliers associated with assignment/international relocation, instructing providers as required (e.g. immigration, tax briefings, removals, etc.)

Collating documentation required for immigration purposes, preparing standard immigration letters where required

Supporting Global Mobility Manager with queries relating to employment/assignment terms and conditions, Company policies, immigration, tax, employment law and assignment costs

Preparing of instructions (for approval by Manager) to home and host payrolls for inbound and outbound assignees

Raising Purchase Orders

Your skills and qualifications:

Good working knowledge of Global Mobility/International Assignments is desirable

Basic knowledge of personal tax, corporate tax, immigration and employment law relating to home and host country jurisdictions

Experience of key stakeholder management

HR Administration or HR Advisor experience
