Funding and Quality Administrator (Early Careers)

Would you like an exciting role working on a completely new programme within the business? We currently have a vacancy for a Funding and Quality Administrator (Early Careers) at our site in Fulwood.

As a Funding and Quality Administrator (Early Careers) you will spend time supporting both internal & external compliance and quality audits.

Working as a member of the Shared Services Team you will deliver effective administrative support to the Apprentice Skills Development Coaches to ensure the effective delivery of the apprenticeship standard that fully meets the quality and compliance standards expected.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within an ever changing, key part of the business and assist with the development of the next era of BAE Systems.

Your main responsibilities as a Funding and Quality Administrator (Early Careers) will involve:

Accurately maintaining and recording data in accordance with funding, quality and awarding body requirements and effectively monitoring and maintaining apprentice learning records

Being responsible for all learner file administration to ensure full compliance to the Education & Skills Funding Agency (EFSA) and internal ISO requirements

Inputting new learner details onto the management information system and updating any changes to the programme as required

Support with the monitoring and tracking of Learner Progress Reviews and Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to ensure that they are completed timely and fully meet both the quality and compliance standards required.

Support with awarding body registrations and certification as required including the scheduling and tracking of End Point Assessment (EPA) activity and certification.

Assist with the accurate monitoring, recording and reporting of learner time and attendance for the Engineering Degree Apprenticeship Scheme

Providing as required detailed management information reports to the funding and quality central team and wider business function

Your skills and qualifications:

Good knowledge and understanding of funding requirements (Education & Skills Funding Agency/Skills Development Scotland) or equivalent

Experience of working to specific timescales and proven ability to deliver in an accurate, appropriate and timely fashion

Evidence of effective and efficient organisational and administrative skills

Experience in dealing with and managing customer relationships over the telephone and in person

Skilled at working with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and also management information systems

Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths

Knowledge and understanding of Apprenticeships, standards and OFSTED Common Inspection Framework is a distinct advantage

Salary £17,500+
