Electrical Maintenance Technician

We currently have a vacancy for an Electrical Maintenance Technician at our site in Radway Green.

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be working within the Electrical Maintenance team and will be fault finding and carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within Munition's designing, developing and manufacturing a comprehensive range of munitions for both the UK and over 50 other countries around the world. Through constant product improvement and our comprehensive development programmes, you will help us make a positive impact on the frontline.

Your main responsibilities as an Electrical Maintenance Technician will involve:

Following a structured PPM system whilst attending electrical breakdowns

Completing electrical fault finding on automated machinery and distribution networks throughout the factory

Carrying out inspection and testing

Improving production process efficiency

Carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance

Your skills and qualifications as an Electrical Maintenance Technician:

Time served in an automation environment

Individual should hold relevant qualifications in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, 17 th edition certificate and be familiar with the safety of machinery regulations

A good understanding of working with automated systems including PLC's, HMI's, industrial computers, drives, sensors, guard switches and motors is essential

Fault finding experience

Experience of completing inspections

Experience of testing work safely

What we're looking for in you:

You will have served a four year apprenticeship in an automation environment. You will be prepared to carry out shift work (06:00 to 14:00 and 13:50 to 21:50 which carries associated salary enhancements) and show a willingness to be part of a weekend on call rota team.

Location: Radway Green

Salary: £29,069 + Shift Enhancement + On call enhancement
