Would you like to be part of shaping the future of BAE Systems through the apprenticeship programme? We currently have a vacancy for an Early Careers Funding and Quality Co-ordinator at our site in Telford with travel to Radway Green.

As an Early Careers Funding and Quality Co-ordinator, you will be delivering effective administrative support to the Early Careers Skills Development Leads and Manager across all Land UK business units, to ensure the effective delivery of the apprenticeship Standard/Framework that fully meets the quality and compliance standards expected.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to build a stakeholder network by providing detailed management information reports to the funding and quality central team and wider business function.

Your main responsibilities as an Early Careers Funding and Quality Co-ordinator will involve:

Accurately maintain and record data in accordance with funding, quality and awarding body requirements and effectively monitor and maintain apprentice learning records.

Providing communication and timely reports to the customer's business and / or funding bodies on funding and quality related processes and updates as required

Supporting the funding team with general learner file administration, including the set-up of new learner files, scanning and destroying of old apprentice files along with constant monitoring of apprentice files to ensure that all the required information is in the file and completed to the standard required

Responsibility for the inputting of new learner details from the ILR on to the MI system and updating any changes to programme as required

Supporting with the auditing of all learner completer files ensuring compliance to the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and internal ISO requirements

Assisting with the monitoring and tracking of Learner Progress Reviews and Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to ensure that they are completed timely and fully meet both the quality and compliance standards required.

Providing administrative support for the planning and delivery of both compliance and quality audits as required

Supporting with the monitoring and tracking of apprentice time and attendance producing detailed reports as required and with the production of robust weekly and monthly funding and quality reports as required by the business

Supporting with the scheduling and tracking of End Point Assessment (EPA) activity and certification and with regards to raising Purchase Order numbers for the programme and providing support with facilitation of annual Induction and a range of Enrichment activities

Your skills and qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Mathematics and English

Competent IT user with experience of word, excel and management information systems

Good knowledge and understanding of funding requirements (ESFA)

Understanding of Quality Assurance (Ofsted/Common Inspection Framework)

Evidence of effective and efficient organisational and administrative skills

Experienced in dealing and managing customer relationships over the telephone and in person

Knowledge and understanding of Apprenticeships and Standards would be beneficial

Experience of working in a further education/college/apprenticeship environment is desirable

You should be passionate about apprentice and skills training and be have credibility and professional confidence alongside effective interpersonal skills

Location: Telford with travel to Radway Green

Salary: £18 000+
