Enterprise Repository Architect

Would you like to be responsible for managing and supporting the corporate Enterprise Repository for the global BAE Systems business reporting to the Head of Global IM&T Strategy and Architecture?

We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise Repository Architect at our Head Office site in Farnborough, Hampshire.

The role provides the opportunity to become involved with the strategic development of IM&T across the business and will enable the successful candidate to take a leading role in the development of BAE Systems EA practice.

The successful candidate will work closely with Enterprise Architects throughout the business to develop BAE Systems’ EA capability to support business requirements. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge/exposure to the Planview CTM toolset.

Your main responsibilities as an Enterprise Repository Architect will involve:

Managing and maintaining the EA Repository, including requirements management, capability development, technical support and configuration control.

Working with service providers as the Service Owner to represent the interests of the EA Repository user community.

Assisting with the global development of the EA practice in BAE Systems and provide leadership for the development of the EA capability.

Assisting BAE Systems businesses with Enterprise Architecture initiatives and evangelising the benefits of EA to other business functions.

Maintaining a wider knowledge of EA practices across industry for the benefit of BAE Systems.

Your skills and qualifications as an Enterprise Repository Architect:

Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience

Extensive IM&T experience in an Architecture role

Subject Matter Expert for the Planview CTM toolset preferred

Qualified TOGAF practitioner would be an advantage

You will be highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines. Your communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Location: Base location is flexible; however, the role will require travel both in the UK and globally.
