Cost & Pricing Analyst
Would you like to be part of the Royal Navy's latest and most capable generation of attack submarines, as well as their intelligent Combat Systems trusted to detect threats in the naval environment? We currently have a vacancy for a Cost & Pricing Analyst at our site in Frimley.
As a Cost & Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for looking at cost of the products and assessing them for value for money, risk and associated costs.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to get involved in high level analysis within a growing and evolving commercial team.
Your main responsibilities as a Cost & Pricing Analyst will involve:
Producing labour and material estimates, undertaking the costing of change proposals
Supporting the procurement process on all aspects of supplier pricing
Investigating out-turn records enabling reconciliation/comparison with the contract price
Providing man-hour budgets and advice to production for project monitoring purposes
Compiling Bills of Materials, quantities and norms, preparing and maintaining of cost charges
Developing and maintaining customer relationships both internal and external, and supporting negotiations with all customers
Contract administration including the resolution of problems, and supporting final costing of commercial projects
Monitoring labour and material spends against contract using uniform/appropriate work breakdown structure
Your skills and qualifications as a Cost & Pricing Analyst:
Forecast and analysis experience
Skilled in the use of Microsoft packages
Pricing experience within Commercial or Procurement functions
Cost analysis/Cost engineering experience
Experience with ERP software would be advantageous

We provide through-life support for combat systems, sensors and radars, and deliver complex programmes and technologies by applying expert programme management and world-class engineering.
