Software Developer

Would you like to join BAE Systems in Warton as a Software Developer We are currently recruiting for a Software Developer to work within the BAE Systems Eurofighter Typhoon organisation.

As a Software Developer, you will be working within a team of engineers to design, develop and test software solutions to sustain the world-wide engineering maintenance and logistics support for the Typhoon.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work across a number of products and integrate with various key stakeholders including Aircraft Programmes, Avionics, Flight Testing, Flight Operations, Eurofighter GmbH and various Air Forces. You will also have the benefit of joining an area that is growing and an integral part of the company's development and growth.

Your main responsibilities as a Software Development Engineer will involve:

The team is responsible for developing a suite of products that make up the engineering support package for the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft

Analyse system requirements to influence the software design and contribute to project planning

Implement and configure new functionality ensuring a maintainable code base

Produce Unit/Module Tests & Software Documents with the appropriate coverage

Provide software support to the Systems Build, Integration & Test Teams during formal qualification activities

Your skills and qualifications will Ideally Include :

Comprehensive C# ability.

Experience with WPF. ( windows presentation foundation)

. Experience with VB6, Winforms, Oracle, ClearCase, Test Driven Development, Design Patterns.

TFS, Coded UI, COM, .Net Interop, SQL, XML (XSD/XSLT), Entity Framework, Rational Robot

Degree/ HND- Software Development/Engineering

Software Development Experience
