Systems Software Engineer
Would you like a chance to produce software for a wide range of aircraft projects? We currently have a vacancy for a Systems Software Engineer at our site in Warton.
As a Systems Software Engineer, you will be producing software for aircraft projects to aid LRI, Subsystem and Systems Integration testing on the aircraft test rigs. Work will include the full software lifecycle from requirements capture through design and test to integration on the customer's test facility.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to use state of the art tools and equipment to produce cutting edge products. You will be involved with the whole product lifecycle from initial design through development, test and release to the customer.
Your main responsibilities as a Systems Software Engineer will involve:
Requirements Capture
Software Design
Software Test
Software and Hardware Integration
Product release and delivery
Production of software documentation
Support of delivered products
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential
Experience of producing software documentation
Experience in one or more of the following: Ada, Python, C and C#
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
HND in a science or engineering discipline or equivalent qualification
Desirable
DOORS requirements Management experience
Code configuration management tools
PLM Teamcenter
Experience in NI Toolsets (e.g. LabVIEW, Teststand and Veristand)

Salary: £35,839+
