Business Process Architect
Would you like the opportunity to join BAE Systems to implement and apply process architecture across our entire business? We currently have a vacancy for a Business Process Architect at our site in Frimley.
As a Business Process Architect, you will work on an exciting new project which will allow you to develop and maintain the business process framework across our Combat Systems business.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a project from concept to completion, and apply your skills and experience, with regular communication and engagement with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities as a Business Process Architect will involve:
Developing and maintaining the business processes framework and reference models across the CS&S Business
Ensuring architectural alignment and compliance within processes to deliver value to our customers
Developing and maintaining an enterprise wide process framework with corresponding value-stream metrics
Ensuring alignment with business architecture, information and organisational architectures
Developing and maintaining a repository of reference models across the business
Overseeing process management standards and compliance
Analysing the business process architecture to identify opportunities for market advantage, optimisation, and integration with internal process initiatives
Supporting process design through leading discovery and design workshops
Measuring and reporting on process performance
Providing analysis and assessment of current process including evaluation of options and design improvements
Your skills and qualifications as a Business Process Architect :
Excellent knowledge of Enterprise and Process architecture
Proven experience in requirement capture and process design
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyse business processes and workflows
Experience in using BPMN or other Process tools
Qualification or professional accreditation in Process Domain
Good understanding of Quality Management
Good understanding of Process Improvement
Understanding of TOGAF, ITIL framework

Salary: £54,100 commensurate with experience

Maritime Submarines – Combat Systems
Our Submarines business has been safely delivering world class submarines to the UK Royal Navy for more than a century. It currently employs approximately 7,700 people, with 500 of these working for Combat Systems across our sites in Barrow-in-Furness, Ash Vale, Broad Oak, Filton, Frimley and Weymouth.
We are currently responsible for the design, build, test and commissioning of the Royal Navy's latest and most capable generation of attack submarines, as well as their intelligent Combat Systems trusted to detect threats in the naval environment.
Our Combat Systems team designs, builds, integrates and supports all of the submarine combat systems in the UK fleet – essentially, the eyes and ears of each platform. We provide through-life support for combat systems, sensors and radars, and deliver complex programmes and technologies by applying expert programme management and world-class engineering.
