The Financial Accounts UK team provides financial support to business through the delivery of key central services covering fixed assets, stock, sales and debtors, tax, payroll and intercompany
As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the delivery of the Baan reconciliations along with the Foreign VAT returns.
This role will provide an opportunity to be involved in the rollout of a new Business ERP within the Central Finance team.
Your main responsibilities as an Accounts Assistant will involve:
Reconciliation of key control accounts within the general ledger ensuring that any reconciling items are followed up on a timely basis
Ensuring that all reconciliations are prepared by working day eight
Supporting the preparation of the accounts in line with the month end timetable
Responsible for the monthly preparation of Foreign Vat returns, reconciliations and intrastate returns
Supporting updates for additions, disposals and transfers of fixed assets
Completing the sales and debtor allocations in a timely manner
Your skills and qualifications:
Good familiarity with the use and manipulation of spread sheets
Previous experience within an Accounts role
AAT qualified or a degree in a relevant subject
Excellent IT Knowledge especially Excel
