Yard Operative

Job description

We are seeking a Yard Operative to work within the yard area, loading and unloading vehicles, help service the workshops, moving equipment and tools and to keep the yard and loading areas clean and tidy.

Key Tasks & Responsibillities 

• Operating/Banking forklift Trucks
• Operating/Banking Yard Crane
• Banking vehicles
• Slinging and lifting machine parts, Piling equipment & tooling
• Operating yard shunter
• Receiving goods
• Assisting other departments movement & lifting requirements
• Assisting other departments with preparation of equipment
