Within the Group, you will join the Group Chief Underwriting Office as Pricing Models & Platform Manager.
Context & Major Challenges
The newly created Global Chief Underwriting Office will be accountable for establishing, enabling, and driving profit and growth through Product Underwriting Strategy, Portfolio Design and Technical Underwriting Excellence in partnership with the AXA Entities, for both Commercial and Retail, through:

- Ceded Reinsurance strategy design and purchasing
As part of the CUO Office you will be an integral part of the Group Pricing Team partnering directly with underwriting, the entities and Pricing management as we look to develop and deliver our strategic objectives.
- <-- [if supportLists]-->As part of Technical Excellence Plan, be an integral contributor, executing on an enterprise pricing model strategy that enables a strong link to data (input and output), analytics and technology.
- Contribute to the development of the pricing platform, developing Pricing models with scalable languages and build towards globally consistent and flexible models to allow for real time updates to reflect dynamic and changing conditions.
- Facilitate global pricing tool usage through sharing best practices, developing users guides and maintaining records within central model database.
- Support the TDO strategy with regard to technical pricing and support the building of pricing platforms and methodologies.
- Leverage capabilities and infrastructure developed by TDO and contribute to a clear communication with TDO and Pricing.
- Research new strategic approaches to modelling and pricing methodologies to improve model performance.
- Engage with UW/Pricing to solve complex model problems, and educate and enable Underwriters and Pricing Actuaries in model usage.
- Contribute to designing a consistent strategy of data capture, facilitate the usage of these data elements for strategic purposes (portfolio studies, refining pricing, etc.).
- Develop a strong network of relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence technical Pricing model improvements globally and drive consistency in approach where appropriate.

· Proven experience within insurance pricing and with core actuarial and data science concepts.

Experience
· Fully Certified Actuary.
· Extensive experience in building pricing & analytical models within an AXA entity or other company.
· Ability to directly support the data, technology, pricing model and analytics strategies.
· Proven experience interacting with Pricing and TDO leaders and evolving in matrixed environments.
· Experience in driving change and building relationships.
· Proven experience in leading multicultural and multifaced geographically spread teams.
