About the job

 

We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn apprentice to join our User Access Network Team in Paris. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, supporting, and deploying Cisco and HPE Aruba LAN and Wi-Fi solutions. Under the guidance of experienced network engineers and architects, you will develop essential skills in network infrastructure, configuration, troubleshooting, and security.

 

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

·  Assist in the design and implementation of Cisco and HPE Aruba LAN and Wi-Fi network solutions.
·  Support the deployment and configuration of network hardware such as switches and access points.
·  Monitor network performance and assist in troubleshooting network issues.
·  Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.
·  Collaborate with team members to ensure network security and optimal performance.
·  Learn and adhere to best practices for network design and security standards.

Expected skills & experience

 

We are looking for someone with the following requirements:

·  Enthusiastic about networking and technology.
·  Basic understanding of network fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, routing, switching) and Cisco Catalyst technology.
·  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·  Good communication in both English and French, and teamwork skills.
·  Willingness to learn and develop further Cisco and HPE networking skills.
·  Relevant educational background (e.g., IT, Computer Science, or related field) is a plus.
