The role
Responsible for reporting on the effectiveness and proposed evolution of the existing Counter Fraud measures deployed at application/quote/sale stage across AXA’s Direct + Corporate Partners Products. Creation of sound business analysis to determine the appropriateness of requests to deploy new Counter Fraud tools and techniques at application stage. Supporting the Counter Fraud objectives necessary to ensure the AXA business strategy is achieved.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
- High quality numerical degree and strong mathematical / logical capability – minimum 2:1 under-graduate.
· Appreciation of aspects of Counter Fraud in General Insurance, together with a basic understanding of AXA as a whole i.e. products + services offered.
· Understanding of fraud at application stage and how this can affect business profitability.
- Beginner understanding of SAS, SQL, MS Office, VBA, (or demonstrable ability to learn these packages quickly). Experience of building logic / coding in university projects / previous role.
- Able to grasp the significance / meaning of a range of technical and complex issues. Inventive thinker and problem-solver that is flexible and tenacious that can create / tailor methods to suit problems.
- Unphased by analysing vast quantities of diverse data with the target to generate meaningful insight.
- Demonstrate effective communication and relationship building skills. This includes the ability to share technical information with a non-technical audience so that it is informative and engaging.
