AXA Health International is a new organization within the Health Division of AXA, bringing together all teams involved in cross-border health and protection insurance and reinsurance. One of these teams currently operates within the AXA Life & Health International Solutions (ALHIS) department of AXA France.
This department manages a portfolio of large corporate clients (typically CAC40 companies), governmental organizations (foreign affairs ministries, embassies), and international non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations, all seeking international health and protection coverage for their staff worldwide.
Your role will be crucial in supporting this growth and ensuring regulatory compliance in a dynamic international setting.
As an Junior Actuary - S2 & IFRS 17, your core responsibilities include:
Assist in IFRS 17-related activities:
- Support projection modeling, contractual service margin (CSM) calculation, and technical provisions;
- Contribute to Solvency II by helping produce reports and analyze results;
- Support the team in producing and analyzing technical and financial results;
Act as a liaison and support cross-functional initiatives:
- Act as a liaison between actuarial, finance, accounting, and IT teams to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing;
- Participate in cross-functional projects, including model development, assumption reviews, and system upgrades;
- Support the continuous improvement of actuarial and regulatory processes.

Technical skills:
· Degree in Actuarial Science (ENSAE, ISFA, EURIA, or equivalent) or in Applied Mathematics;
· Some experience gained through internships or apprenticeships in an actuarial role, ideally related to IFRS 17 or Solvency II;
· Basic knowledge of actuarial tools such as R, Python, and SQL, with familiarity with accounting and IT environments.
