Job description



The Investor Relations Department, in liaison with the Senior Management of the Group, manages relations with investors, financial analysts and rating agencies to communicate and explain all aspects of the strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions and financing, and the financial performance of the Group.

Main mission of the role :

Interactions with analysts and investors

·
Monitor analyst publications on AXA and the insurance industry

·
Analyze valuation models and monitor earnings forecasts

·
Gradually become the key contact for some equity analysts covering AXA

·
Support Top Management during investor meetings

Financial releases:

·
Prepare documents related to the Group's performance and strategy, presented by the Senior Management of the Group and intended for the analyst and investor community

·
Prepare press releases on financial performance and M&A transactions

·
Review the main financial publications issued by the Group (in particular semi-annual and annual reports, financial supplements, Solvency II reports)

·
Participate to internal presentations about the market perception of the AXA stock

Competitor analysis:

·
Identify and analyze the major strategic priorities of AXA's main competitors and feedback to AXA's Senior Management.

·
Analyze peers' financial disclosures and major strategic announcements

·
Produce a weekly report on the sector (market analysis of AXA and competitors)

Investor Conferences on AXA's performance:
·
Prepare documents to be presented by Senior Management of the Group during Investor Conferences

Other ad-hoc projects:

· Participate at the request of the Management Committee of the entities or departments of the GMS to any strategic project for the Group or its subsidiaries comprising a financial markets or financial communication dimension

Desired profile



Qualifications :

Experience :
·  Graduate of a business or engineering school with a specialization in Finance, or equivalent;
·  4 to 6 years of experience in finance (audit, financial analysis, ...);






Technical and professional skills :
· 
Technical mastery of the financial statements of an insurance company;

· 
Excellent written communication skills and oral presentation ability;

· 
Good understanding of strategic topics;

· 
Good understanding of Corporate Finance topics;

· 
Ability to represent the Group with analysts and investors;

· 
Ability to interact with a variety of high-level interlocutors in tight time frames;

· 
Proficiency in financial, legal, accounting and tax techniques;

· 
Attention to detail and a “step back”, big picture view;

· 
English essential;

Interpersonal skills (behavioural / soft skills) :

· 
Very strong interpersonal skills (international, internal and external contacts);

· 
Strong analytical skills;

· 
Ability to manage confidentiality in relation to interlocutors for whom the rules of confidentiality are different (for example: investors / rating agencies ...);

Ability to handle crisis situations and very good resistance to stress;
