We are looking for our next R&D Data Scientist intern as of March 31st and for 6 months at our AXA Headquarters

Location : 25 avenue Matignon, 8th arrondissement Paris.

Within Group Risk Management P&C, you will join the R&D CAT NAT & Reinsurance team as R&D Data Scientist.

What You’ll Do

• Design and validate a methodology to produce spatially relevant risk metrics from complex natural risks models
• Automate the production of risk maps
• Contribute to the development of complex natural risks models

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who You Are

·  You are a Master student with background in mathematics, physics, engineering, Earth sciences and/or computer science
·  You strong Python (or R) skills, with an attention to write clean, reusable, and versioned code
·  You (optionally) have some experience of GIS softwares (e.g., QGIS)
·  You have a strong interest in Earth sciences (climate science, hydrology, …)
