Within the Group, you will join the Group Risk Management P&C
Within this Department, you will be part of the Cat Man-made & Business Risks team
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll do
• Interactions with different group entities regarding information collected through the data collection platform
• Portfolio and/or claims data analysis
• Identification of new parameters for modelling and refinement of the model calibration
• Conducting ad hoc studies on the model.
• The development of a Shiny App for model results’ analysis
• Reinforce coding governance by introducing a testing framework for code changes.
• This internship will be an opportunity to gain solid theoretical and operational knowledge by working on one of the key issues in non-life insurance within an international group.
YOUR PROFILE
- Academic background
Actuary, Master’s in Mathematics or Statistics, Engineer, Quant
Experience
A first experience in an actuarial department (Risk modelling, pricing or reserving) is a plus
Hard skills
· Expert in probability, statistics, risk theory, actuarial science
· Very strong analytical/quantitative skills
· Robust Data and programming skills (in particular R/python).
· Ability to communicate in a clear and concise way.
Soft skills
· Ability to work in a team, good interpersonal skills, flexibility/adaptability
· Rigor, motivation, autonomy, proactivity
· Curiosity and open-mindedness
Languages
Professional level in English
