You will join the Group Chief Underwriting Office as a Health individual pricing intern. The newly created Global Chief Underwriting Office is accountable for establishing, enabling, and driving profit and growth through Product Underwriting Strategy, Portfolio Design and Technical Underwriting Excellence in partnership with the AXA Entities, for both Commercial and Retail, through:

• Portfolio Design Steering
• Underwriting Product Strategy and Profitability Measurement
• Technical Underwriting Guidance
• Pricing Models, Platforms and Analytics

Votre poste et vos missions au quotidien :

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Health Individual Pricing team.

The intern will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Maintaining and accelerating business dashboards updates through automation
• Analyzing business cases to fully understand business metrics’ volatility
• Breaking down and analyzing the components of the technical profitability model used to price health policies
• Producing comparative studies of health insurance competitors by integrating machine learning algorithms

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Compétences techniques et professionnelles requises, niveau d'expérience :

·  Currently in the second year of a three-year engineering school program or equivalent
·  Experience in leveraging statistical approaches in a prior internship
·  Mastery of Excel and VBA • Proven knowledge of traditional data processing and analysis tools: Python, R, SQL, PowerBI
·  Strong presentation and communication skills
·  French and English fluency (written & spoken)
·  Collaborative
·  Able to build trust-based relationships
