Job description
*
Within the Accounting team, you will report to the Head of PBR & Accounting, with a functional reporting to the Senior Accountant. You will oversee the accounting of reinsurance companies (insurance chart of accounts) as well as service & management companies (General COA).
<-- [if supportLists]-->1) <--[endif]-->Production of the statutory accounts of reinsurance companies (PCA), as well as of service & management companies (PCG):
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Collection, identification and booking of provisions and accruals entries for the quarterly closings of each entity;
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Preparation of annual statements (annual report, management report and appendices to the statutory accounts);
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Direct contact with the auditors.
<-- [if supportLists]-->2) Collaboration with the Central Accounting Services (CAS) team (based in United Kingdom) in charge of accounting records and the management of day-today operations:
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Accounts payable and expense reports: control invoices records, identify and monitor fixed assets, quarterly analytical review of management expenses (in collaboration with Financial Control);
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Accounts receivable: issue, record and monitor invoices (in collaboration with the Financial Control);
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Treasury: control bank entries records and reconciliations, cash flows monitoring;
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Auxiliary systems reconciliations with our accounting tool PeopleSoft.
Responsible of the follow-up and the accuracy of the accounting operations booked by the CAS team, you will have exchanges with teams abroad.

<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Production of consolidated tax packages (CEGIDTAX) and tax packages for French tax authority;
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Calculation and of taxes and duties: IS (consolidated tax and common law), VAT, CVAE, CFE, C3S, DAS2 etc including handling of respective timetables.
<-- [if supportLists]-->4) <--[endif]-->Production of the IFRS package for reinsurance companies (PCA), consolidated within the AXA Group (quarterly, in collaboration with the PBR team) on BO MAGNITUDE software.
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Production of IFRS accounts for each quarterly closing and complete some schedules for Magnitude
<-- [if supportLists]-->Ø <--[endif]-->Calculation of Deferred Taxes
<-- [if supportLists]-->5) <--[endif]-->Moreover, you will take part in various projects of the Finance family.

About the requirements:
Education:
Ø Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, etc.
Competencies:
Ø You have between 1-3 years of experience on a similar position in the insurance industry;
Ø You have excellent knowledge of French and IFRS norms, accounting rules, that you acquired both through your degree and/ or your professional experience;
Ø You have a good knowledge of French taxes;
Ø You have a good knowledge of PCG and PCA (would be a plus);
Ø You are fluent in French and English, written and orally;
Ø You may know People Soft or S4/HANA;
Ø You are proficient in Excel;
Ø You are organized, autonomous and proactive in solutions finding, with the ability to meet deadlines.
