Your job and daily missions:

P&C Commercial Line Group Underwriting Office is looking for a “Data Portfolio Analyst” to join the Business Performance team. The Data Portfolio Analyst will play a key contributing role in ensuring Data assets meet objectives in terms of Quality, Timeline & Benefits:

  • Support P&C CL Underwriting teams in their strategic initiatives related to data framework/governance implementation in various P&C business processes: P&C Technical Performance Monitoring, Natural Catastrophes data Management across the Group (NatViews), Energy Transition & Sustainability (e.g. ESG),…
  • Lead / Participate to transversal projects & use cases related to Data Mesh and Gen AI, and be a Data Governance referent, working closely with Data Owners (Finance, Risk, Underwriting, entities,…) and Data Stewards (Technology & Data teams, Corporate Data Center,…) to answer their questions, provide orientations and ensure data framework is enforced
  • Perform data cartography and mapping exercises with business teams in order to document the relevant processes, technical storage items (tools) and relevant data to be included in our data governance framework
  • Collaborate with data transversal stakeholders (Group Risk Management, Group Finance, AXA Group Operations,…) to ensure global alignment on data policy and effective usage by P&C CL operational teams
  • Master tool capabilities both from an end-user perspective (browsing, search, views…) and from an admin one (import/export data, data quality review, access rights management…)
  • Promote data culture across Group Underwriting Office and contribute to the improvement of data maturity through diverse communication formats and events

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Master’s degree in business or engineering, with a business data orientation
·  Around 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Data / BI business analyst. Experience in Insurance and/or Consulting would be appreciated.
·  Knowledge in data projects management, ideally in major and multi-cultural organizations with large-scale data.
·  Fluency in English, verbal and written
·  Good data processing/visualization and technical skills, with confirmed knowledge of Excel, SQL, BI tools (e.g. PowerBI & Tableau), Python, R
·  Computer literate including Microsoft Office Package
·  Inquisitive mind with compelling analytical thinking skills
·  Ability to work with team globally located and cross-functionally, with entrepreneurial spirit and ambition to drive change
