We are looking for our Data & Business Intelligence Analyst M/F - Based on Châtillon (92)
You are in charge to Revamp & extend our data architecture & business analytics across the roadside assistance & mobility business unit – across small & big data.
Exciting opportunity for a junior or experienced data & business-driven associate to be part of the Motor & Mobility business transformation
- Working on 30+ markets in a global role on B2B2C business with a strong digital dimension
- Transversal view of data along the value chain: Networks (with a strong geo-mapping & time dimensions), Customer Call Centers, Digital, Underwriting
- Inside a business team but supported with expert teams: Data office teams, other teams in other business lines, supported by an experienced manager in the field
- Business impacts at short-term & medium horizon: data exploration to identify business & savings potential, and opportunities to improve existing processes; Exciting project in Transformation context – with immediate business needs, both internal & external and across functions
- Multi-disciplinary job: Mix of building, training and coaching various users with different jobs; A good way to have a wide experience in the assistance & service worldwide & across functions, with a strong end-client and business partners dimension
- Working with & learning from best-in-breed tools on business (Salesforce, Easy Territory, IValua, Contract Tech, Osprey fraud detection tools ) and in big data (Hadoop, Impala, Spotwire, PowerBI)
Your main responsabilities are:
In the Network and business support team, the Data & Business Intelligence Analyst (BI) will be working with a Data & BI Manager on the following activities
1) Build immediate data & BI solutions for business users with current data model & existing ad-hoc data – with a focus on automation & streamlining of processes
- Operational performance: Provider network, Call centers….
- Analytical data deep-dives in assistance cases to identify savings & fraud detection
- Roadside assistance statistics: geo-location, frequency by car types etc…
- Cross-business unit reports to Senior Management
2) Refine business data & BI needs and propose solutions addressing them for 1) internal reporting 2) tailored partner/client reporting
- Collect needs from 1) data model 2) reporting 3) frequency etc
- Assess implications for data model & appropriate set-up (tool, location etc)
- Propose solutions, build and iterate
3) Act as business voice/PM in Transformation programme to drive & follow the delivery of the new data model through iterative prototypes and progressive roll-out of data models & tools
- Develop & evolve the data model prototype: from initial prototype to final delivery, following the progress made on the various tools & their underlying data model
- Working across the various tools & databases: Salesforce, Ivalua (providers tool), Easy territory, Digital tracking assets, proprietary algorithms etc…
- Challenge & review data model architecture efficiency; Follow data model evolutions
- Build & maintain own roadmap based on prioritised needs and data availability & transformation roadmap
4) Roll-out business analytics with the various users: onboard, educate, train, coach, support
- On-board & train new & experienced users on 1) data model and underlying data 2) big data tools: PowerBI & Spotfire
- Prototype & industrialise dashboards with users for the various audiences
- Coach users for more advanced use and specific developments requiring support
- Maintain data model (incl dictionaries & data marts) and overview of report/dashboard architecture for all teams
- Support ad-hoc requests to empower business analytics by each team
- Roll out data governance principles and ensure data ownership by relevant stakeholders
5) Oversee business analytics developments and drive convergence & alignment with other teams to produce senior management dashboards across lines of business
Desired profile
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years working experience in analytical & data-driven jobs
- Must be fluent in English. Other language (French, Spanish) is a strong plus
- Strong academic background – ideally statistics, business or engineering
- Numerate with extensive experience in data base, data manipulation and analysis
- Strong commercial acumen, with affinity for B2B2C business
- Business-oriented, digital and industrial yet agile mindset
- Ability to work with short-term & medium-term objectives, as well as on multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills, tenacity and enthusiasm
- Good level of maturity in people interface skills, working both across cultures and at various levels of the organization; Ability to convince and influence people, demonstrates effective leadership with ability to encourage others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Very good knowledge of big data and MI tools (R, Python, SAS, Spotfire, Power BI) and MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
