To understand in detail the technical aspect of the systems portfolio for assigned Business Units. To support and present these to clients and internally to AVL. To prepare the most appropriate technical solution for clients' needs or requests. The role will also involve visits to customer sites.

Your Responsibilities:
·  • To produce technical solutions and table top drawings which are required to support the bidding process
·  • To interface with the order fulfilment organisation as required.
·  • To use AVL Quote tools
·  • To develop and maintain a level of technical expertise in AVL systems and products
·  • To assist in the creation of quotations and to make presentations to support the sales process.
·  • To develop and maintain harmonious relations with colleagues throughout the AVL group and with AVL's potential, past and present customers.
·  • To comply with all Quality Assurance and Environmental Protection procedures pertinent to the proposed solution.
·  • To work proactively to find ways by which the process and products can be improved.
·  • To travel to AVL and customer sites as is reasonably required to achieve the targets set for the role
·  • To carry out any other duties as reasonably required commensurate with the nature of the job and level of responsibility Annual Remuneration:

Desired profile

Your Profile:
·  • The Right to Work in the UK
·  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office & generally IT literate.
·  • Automotive, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background is essential, ideally in a rotating machinery or vehicle powertrain field.
·  • Qualified to Higher National Diploma (HND) or above.
·  • A Team Player and willing to accept responsibility within the role.
·  • Commitment, flexibility and self-motivation
·  • Full UK valid driving license
·  • Ability to travel internationally as required
