Sales / Business Development

The objective of the Sales Assistant role is to support all Sales administrative activities for the UK market. This will include support for the Sales team as well as the Marketing team and the Engineering teams.

Your Responsibilities:
·  Responsible for all Sales related administrative and organisational tasks e.g. travel arrangements, diary management, organising meetings, taking minutes, correspondence, report preparation etc.
·  Communication support to the business
·  Liaising with other AVL affiliates and clients

Desired profile

Your Profile:
·  Essential:
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build good relationships with colleagues from all cultures
·  Proven organisational skills for workshops, eventsand meetings
·  Excellent knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office
·  Ability to prepare presentations for internal and external purposes
·  Planning, prioritising and coordinating workload independently with minimal guidance
·  A proactive approach with the ability to pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
·  Highly motivated and reliable team player
·  Preferable:
·  Sales experience (either studies or professional)
·  German language skills would be beneficial
·  Knowledge of AVL's product and service offerings and the types of projects undertaken by AVL Powertrain Engineering
·  Experience with sales tools and software, for example Salesforce.com, SharePoint etc.
