Your Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the HiL system as part of the AVL Virtual Testbed
· Check the customer/market requirements and translate them into a defined specification for the AVL system
· Installation of hardware and commissioning (functional testing and commissioning) of the Virtual Testbed
· Define, implement and validate the internal and external hardware and software links in respect of completeness, compatibility and functionality
· Development and commissioning of new HiL test systems, including the establishment of standards (e.g. I/O connection, generation of I/O models)
· Support of customer product commissioning's and technical support
· Development of methodologies, hardware and software to further automate the commissioning process and improve the VTB setup
· Responsible for compliance with AVL product development process
· Establish and deploy a strategy for HiL test equipment for current and future product development programmes Annual Remuneration:
Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR45,000 . We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.

Desired profile
Your Profile:
· Strong technical background – ideally a technical degree in mechanical, electronic, electrical, control systems or automotive engineering
· Significant experience in hardware-in-the-loop simulation and test
· dSpace Scalexio and ETAS HiL platform experience is desirable
· Prior experience in engine control system development and/or verification testing is desirable
· Preferable experience in signal processing and in reading circuit diagrams
· Experience with Matlab/Simulink
· Appreciated knowledge of CAN BUS or similar communication protocols
· Good knowledge of English language
· Good Project Management skills for effective product and system delivery
· Strong customer focus
· Good communication skills at all levels within an engineering environment
