Department:

Calibration

In this role you will be responsible for optimizing the calibration of the after-treatment system, to ensure that it works to its full efficiency in all vehicle conditions. The role involves planning, preparation and supervision of after-treatment related engine dyno and vehicle tests, assessment and documentation of test results and delivery of calibrations. You will also be required to participate in vehicle test development trips.

Your Responsibilities:
·  Calibration dataset development in-line with After-treatment attribute targets
·  Dataset validation for all ambient conditions both in facility and in territory
·  Planning and execution of a vehicle testing program
·  Analysis of results and preparation of recommendations Annual Remuneration:

Desired profile

Your Profile:
·  Essential:
·  BEng in Mechanical/Automotive or related Engineering discipline
·  Masters or PhD in specific subject area preferred
·  Good knowledge of Combustion engine fundamentals
·  Excellent inter-personnel and communication skills
·  Proven project management skills
·  Good working knowledge of EMS and related tools and software
·  Capable of working independently as well as part of large and small teams
·  Preferable:
·  Experience of co-ordinating and executing tests on engine test-bed and vehicle
·  Practical experience of DPF monitoring and regeneration strategies
·  Knowledge and experience of SCR or LNT After-treatment systems
·  Knowledge of data analysis tools such as AVL Concerto or equivalent
·  Understanding of worldwide vehicle emissions legislation
