Manager, Knowledge Management and Curation

Learning and Development

As a Knowledge Management and Curation Manager, you will act as a single point of contact for knowledge management support for the Learning & Development (L&D) team and play a key role in the establishment of a knowledge management methodology and workflow within L&D. This role's support will range from answering questions related to the key functionality of the curricula database to curating and managing the learning content sourced from employees across the globe.

Day-to-day you will provide operational leadership in several areas:

Content Management:

·  Respond to information requests and work with appropriate Talent Communities (TC) and Market Units (MU) to respond to more detailed requests for content
·  Manage knowledge repositories
·  Store and tag project or product/asset-related materials
·  Coordinate content to ensure the latest materials are available
·  Continually work to improve the process for content management
·  Manage additions and removals of recommended knowledge sources
·  Enforce standards, procedures, and policies set forth for respective knowledge base(s)
·  Create and manage a taxonomy for the database
·  Map digital learning content to relevant skills, competencies, behaviors, and learning curriculums
·  Partner with communication, marketing, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent branding across the learning content

Distribution of Content:

·  Distribute materials in support of TC and MU efforts
·  Route approvals for and handle distribution of application documentation, source code, project toolkits, and/or training documentation
·  Route approvals for and handle distribution of diagnostic tools and supporting materials

Accountabilities

·  Accountable for creation and successful rollout of KM methodology, processes, workflow and guidelines
·  Accountable for training employees on KM practices and workflow
·  Accountable for reviewing and tagging all learning content before it is posted to the digital learning portal

Qualifications

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience in a content management or L&D role.

1-2+ years of management experience.

·  Cite experience working in a technology solutions and/or consulting organization, where you gained an understanding of the market and particular challenges facing the industry from a HR perspective
·  Understanding of Strategic Business Partnering
·  Cite previous experience managing large databases, including content curation
·  Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing business landscapes and embrace change
·  Demonstrate good business and L&D acumen, including strong problem solving skills and critical thinking
·  Demonstrate conceptual and innovative thinking
·  Provide examples of experience of working independently with autonomous decision making
·  Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills at all levels
·  Demonstrate excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
·  Provide examples of ability to work well under pressure (e.g. managing multiple activities and priorities within tight timeframes and resource constraints while maximizing value for the client)

Education

A Bachelor's degree in in HR, Business, another related field, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
