Internship, HR People Ecosystems - Organizational Development
The Organizational Development Intern role will support the HR function with delivery of projects that impact all Avanade employees. This is an opportunity to get involved in a variety of multi-disciplinary projects aligned to organizational development at Avanade. The right candidate will work alongside the HR People Ecosystems team to deliver projects which are focused on data analytics, skill and behavior modeling, change management and organizational alignment and structure.
Duties and Job Responsibilities
Data analysis of job skills by role which are aligned to a talent framework
Content design and development for team presentations
Conduct internal interviews and data gathering sessions with internal stakeholders
Conduct market research on Human Resources trends in the IT and professional services industries
Coordination of meetings and special events
Manage one or more projects
Job Location/Duration:
Must reside locally and be able to work in Seattle office location.
Role to begin in March 2017 through summer 2017.
Possible part time extensions of up to 15-20 hrs. week during the school year in Fall 2017 - Spring 2018

Hourly Pay:
$17 per hour
Qualifications
Interns MUST be actively enrolled and pursuing an Undergrad or Graduate degree Must be pursuing one of the following degrees: HR, I/O PSY, Leadership Development, Organizational Design, Talent Management, Change Management, Business Communications, or similar business degree. (please provide your current GPA)
Proven verbal communications skills- able to effectively work with leadership and other team members
Strong written communication skills
Some experience in manging large complex projects
Excellent research and analysis skills
MS Excel – e.g., proficiency with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and beyond
MS PowerPoint skills -an eye for detail on formatting and graphics/charts
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, complex work environment
Basic understanding of the principles of organizational development and change management
