An Analyst, Solution Developer contributes to the functional and technical design, plus the coding and testing of software applications to meet business requirements. An Analyst applies functional knowledge and technical expertise in the implementation of configuration changes and maintenance of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the programming of new applications using the .NET Framework, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, BizTalk, Data and Analytics, SharePoint, Office 365 and other advanced components of Microsoft technology

• Consult with Avanade's Fortune 500 customers

• Execute test scripts and document the results

• Support, maintain and administer deployed solutions

Qualifications

Years of Experience: 0-3 years of project experience in a consulting environment

Management Experience: None

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field

Other Skills/Knowledge:

Minimum requirements

• Passion for technology

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to excel in a team oriented, project based work environment

• Demonstrated leadership experience in an academic, extracurricular or professional setting

• Previous work, internship or co-op experience, preferably with customer-facing responsibilities

• Strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to think on your feet

• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to travel

Preferred requirements

Knowledgeable of requirements gathering methods and tools.

Understanding of software development, implementation lifecycle, and DevOps tooling

• Programming experience using C#, C++, or Java

• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or other relational database management systems

• Functional knowledge of a development methodology

• Prior consulting experience
