Job description
A leading educational publisher in Oxford is looking for a number of Digital Account Consultants for a newly created team. You will provide first class customer service, delivering digital products to school customers. This is an excellent 1st or 2nd publishing job with opportunities for career progression. This is a permanent term-time only role.
Key duties:
- Build, develop, and manage strong relationships with customers
- Support customers from purchase, through set up, and during use of product(s)
- Provide an excellent level of service to all customers
- Manage customer accounts to ensure product renewals
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Achieve individual sales targets
- Co-ordinate and liaise with sales, technical and operational teams
Experience / skills required:
- Ideally some previous Sales and/or Customer Service experience but training will be given
- Excellent account management, presentation, and communication skills
- You must be a strong self-starter with proven ability to build strong relationships
- You must be target oriented with the ability to meet retention and renewal targets
- The ideal candidate will be collaborative, a team player, customer and outcome focused
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel is essential
- You should have a genuine interest and passion for learning and digital technology
- An understanding of educational publishing is desirable but willingness to learn is more important
