- Maintaining and supporting existing software tools, building new requirements, enhancing features not delivered by the vendor supplied software, customizing software to meet specific business needs, troubleshooting and resolving issues identified by users.
- Installing and administering large-scale software tools, including Systemware Suite of products, XPTR, XTND, XNET, XPTR-RS, XPTR-DS
- Documenting how-to procedures for the user community, training users how-to use software, and presenting demonstrations in a classroom and via WebEx.
- Analyze user needs and determine best approach for custom solutions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot various problems when necessary.
- System Administration for Systemware – XPTR (JHS), XNET, XTND, XPTR-RS, XPTR-CI and XPTR-DS
- Support XPTR-DS on Linux/UNIX/Windows and XPTR on IBM Mainframe
- Utilize customized XPTR-CI application to allow company to centralize support and development. 
- Support retail store report interfaces via XNET for associates and Lost Prevention managers. 
- Install all new releases and apply PTF’s and patches for all XPTR products
- Maintain modified XMET HTML source code for customized panels for users.
- Maintain XPTR-RS captured FTP documents stored in XPTR to centralize users documents.
·         Support client requests
·         Change management (applies vendor patching or performs upgrades to software)
·         Comply with ISO20000 procedures for Service Request, Incident, Problem and Change Management
·         Respond to and comply with escalation policies for high severity incidents
·         Requires participation in 24 x 7 on call rotation during after-hours and weekends
·         Monitoring of software components
·         Monitor Remedy AMP group queues and pick up tickets that need attention
·         Provide day to day technical support, support to business and client teams as required
·         Participate in global and local technical initiatives or projects
·         Provides SME support, planning and input for architecture, projects, upgrades, migrations, anything involving scheduling environments supported
·         Supports Disaster Recovery for X/PTR environments
·         Creates and maintains process documentation
·         Participation in audits
 
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
- Complete timesheets (in Time and Billing System) in an accurate and timely manner
- Complete expense reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare for and participate in his/her quarterly and yearly performance appraisals
- Timely response to emails, phone calls and voice mails
- Provide status reporting to leadership
