Main activities
1. Participation in operational monthly closing cycle
· • Exchange with business partners specific events of the month
· • Communicate month expectations in a pre-closing meeting (controlling/accounting/billing)
· • Compare monthly actual with last year, budget and forecast figures • Variance analysis to be performed on your scope
· • Conclusions and feedback communication in closing meetings (controlling/accounting/billing)
· • Feedback and report monthly figures to business partners
2. Lead budget and forecast cycle for your organisation scope (revenues, opex, capex)
· • Instruct your business partners on targets, process and timelines to be followed
· • Assist them in constructing the figures for their organisation
· • Collect all needed figures in the required formats and tools
· • Document budget and forecast evolution and assumptions in spreadsheets and slides to be used in management presentations
· • Communicate to your business partners status of the process, approved figures,…
3. Other activities might be (none-exhaustive):
· • Support bid team to develop proposals
· • Update and collect input parameters and data for the ABC model (Activity Based Costing)
· • Maintain masterdata
· • Define reports in Oracle/Business Objects DWH
· • Participate in finance projects
· • Analytical reporting and follow-up of trends/evolutions
· • Consolidation and preparation group reporting for capitalized expenses + depreciation simulations
· • Support and improve internal processes
· • BO environment link purchase orders to invoices
· • Reporting Capital Expenses based on cash view (versus balance sheet view)
· • BO environment for better revenue reporting
· • Ensure availability of certain reports:
· • Monthly distribution of cost reports
· • Requisition database
· • Support set-up of regional billing of cross country projects (set-up + follow-up)
