Position: Sr. Consultant/Application Developer 2 Location: Purchase, NY Duties: Support operation automation for data movement, transformation and integration processes using SAP business Objects tools like Business Objects Enterprise and Data Integrator. Deliver solutions using Microsoft and SAP ETL (SSIS/DI) for data transformation. Provide high level design for alternative solutions, map business requirements to software development and review other process mapping efforts. Conduct Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities. Support customer's charter, invoice, payroll applications. Work on multiple projects, solve problems within time constraints and apply industry's best practices. Monitor nightly batch processing for various Transport and financial systems. Provide emergency response 24/7, ensure continuous operations and minimize disruption to end-users, being on call as required. Support root cause analysis, application change management, incident management, disaster recovery, business continuity, and SOX & ITGC reporting related activities. Telecommuting is permissible. Minimum education required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Applications, Physics or a related field plus 3 years of experience in computer application. Minimum experience required: In lieu of a Master’s plus 3 years of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Applications, Physics or a related field plus 5 years of experience in computer application. Skills required: Experience in PL/SQL Programming (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Packages) using Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL). UNIX shell scripting. Experience in SAP Business Object Reporting and Administration, Business Objects Web Intelligence and Desktop Intelligence Report development, Knowledge in SAP HANA Administration and Hyperion Administration, Knowledge in SQL Server integration services. Experience with Informatica Power Center and Oracle 11g. Experience in system analysis, design, development, and implementation.
